About our Program

CHAPLAINS PROGRAM The Chaplain's program at Promise Christian University prepares men and women for the ministry of a Chaplain.  Chaplains are involved in ministry outside the four walls of the church.

Chaplains serve in military, volunteer veteran organizations, police, fire, hospital, prison, hospice and now in demand as corporate chaplains.  As a volunteer chaplain, you do not need to meet the qualifications required of an active military chaplain.

This certificate program is designed to introduce you to the "ministry" of a Chaplain which applies to all areas of chaplaincy.

Chaplains are in a unique position, unlike counselors, they are prepared to minister on a pluralistic level and a spiritual level.

Students who complete all three levels of training are eligible to graduate with a "Certificate in Chaplaincy."  This certifies them by Promise Christian University that they have learned the basic tools necessary to begin their vocation as a Christian Chaplain.

The Promise Christian University Chaplains Training program is excellent also for those seeking appointments as a police, fire, hospice, hospital, rest home, marketplace chaplaincy.
